Managed to have a somewhat decent day today - beginning was a general nightmare and Mum continued to be a short-tempered bastard, but I at least got a somewhat decent hotel room and I've technically finished the North Coast 500.

From the looks of things, I've got another 10-11 days of this.

One day of general pain has turned into two days of general pain.

Got drenched again, had to deal with my Mum being a short-tempered bastard again, and ended up faffing about for far longer than I wanted again.

On the bright side, I haven't lost any days of deposits (somehow), and I got to try some haggis Bon Bon-things. Tasted pretty neat, if odd.

Should be back home sometime Thursday to Saturday. Hopefully.

Well, my first day on the North Coast 500 got off to a godawful start.

Suffered through torrential downpour, which combined with Mum's inability to use GPS or generally navigate her way out of a paper bag combined to make for 4-8 hours of misery.

Tried to convince my mum to cut her losses and turn around once we got to a hotel, but she repeatedly refused and threw a fit instead. Gonna try and get through the rest of it as best I can.

Just hit Lt. General, with 1,641 blams and 19,859 saves, putting me at #466 in Global Rank.

Feels like I'm not getting that many blams, though - not much of an issue in my book, my only interest right now is in reaching Supreme Commander. Getting further up the Hexalist can wait.

(Thinking about it, the difficulty of achieving blams is probably something Fulp wants - I suspect he'd rather let ten blamworthy subs pass judgment than let one okay sub get unfairly blammed.)

Got a trip on the North Coast 500, which I'm starting this Monday.

I should be back by mid-September - at the very latest, I should be back just in time for Madness Day.

Went up to Seahouses for my 24th birthday today.

Had some good food, went on a fun as hell boat trip, got a cute shark plushie, and generally had a good time.

Damn, just hit fifty fans. Thanks to all of you for following me, means a lot.

I'm also having my birthday on Wednesday, and going on the North Coast 500 at the start of September.

Life is good.

Well, Clock Day came and went, and it was quite the blast.

Got onto my first collab with a quick and fun shitpost, saw plenty of solid clock stuff, and generally enjoyed myself.

Even earned my first Daily Award from it as well.

Just hit Brig. General, with 1,560 blams and 17,950 saves, putting me at #508 in Global Rank.

Just hit Level 24, putting me at #7,821 in Exp Rank.

Also got a holiday in Scotland in September, so I'll likely be absent for two weeks around then.
