The punchline was pretty obvious in retrospect, but I'll be damned if I didn't love every second of this.

You sound like you're stumbling on the script a bit, but I feel it fits this animated adaptation of one of your impressively unsettling bits of fanart (https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/danigrex2n/zombotany-but-zombies-can-get-heal) quite well.

Feels like the setup for an ARG - I quite like it.

The main bulk of this was majestically animated. The punchline, meanwhile, was hilariously deranged.

A deranged, and fever-dreamish spin on the mundane. Animation is impressively nightmarish, as usual.
