Its a pretty interesting effect, but I don't really know where you're going with this.

I can see what looks like text underneath the moss(?) but I never get a good look at what it says.

You did a damn good job getting under my skin with this.

The short looked pretty much perfectly like a 2000's era quiz you'd find made in Flash.
