This'd fit perfectly into a fake "future consoles" vid from the late-'00s/early-'10s.
I can see some stylistic inspiration from the Xbox One in this.

This did a damn good job getting under my skin - the fear of having wasted my life for nothing is something I'm uncomfortably familiar with.

A pitch-black, hyperviolent and hilarious parody of the cyberpunk genre, complete with an excellent visual style reminiscent of many a '90s OVA.

The ending itself was damn good too, between the relentless puns and the rather creative end to the villain's schemes.
