The oddly smooth animation and bold colours really ramp up the surreal tone you were going for.

StephenHutchins responds:

I appreciate it!

Beautifully animated all around. I lack the words to describe how damn good this is.

mansa1212 responds:

Thank you so much ^^

*Not to be confused with Psyduck

Nicely done duck. Face seems a bit odd when rotating, but that's my only complaint.

tristitox responds:

You're right!! I struggled with the face since it's a path animation, thank you 4 ur feedback <3

Congrats to Jessica on her self-discovery, and congrats to you for making something so cute.

Eddwardbythepurgator responds:

Hey! Thank you so much :)

I unfortunately don't speak a word of Spanish, so I didn't understand the guy or Jesus.

I did appreciate the weird-as-hell animation, though. Looks like an early CGI demonstration to me.

Wanesu responds:

Thanks!! I have tried to maintain aesthetic coherence with the style and the old television.

The guy is Jesús Quintero he says something like he knows what it's like to feel lonely in a city of millions of inhabitans.

Welcome back, Charles. Always nice to see returning faces.

Charlesthetelephone responds:

Glad to be back :)

Damn, Shady Sal's Sunscreen is 100 SPF? I'm fucking sold - I'm whiter than titanium dioxide and sunlight makes me burn like a Tesla.

Excellently made all around - really liked the use of a 3D model for the sunscreen, and cracked up at the black guy laughing in reverse.

Also quite liked how you set up the ending gag. The guy hawking Shady Sal's was right - the sun is indeed a deadly laser.

wirdhere responds:

Thanks so much! :DDDD

A clever and creative twist on the Clerks formula, whose raunchy, relatably messy comedy complement a dramatic zombie storyline.

The cartoonish monochrome visuals strongly remind me of Clerks, as does the basic setup.

coomstick responds:

This is really flattering, thank you so much!

I gotta admit, this is a pretty clever way to guide people to your work.

The animation's nicely made too - it gives people a good idea of what to expect from you.

NightOlMaster responds:

Thank you, I never thought this will guide my audience. My previous name before NOM is much worse though, good thing I changed it.

I thought I'd be able to handle this. I was wrong.
It may have been worth it for such a beautiful tribute, but holy shit, this was a difficult watch.

I hope I never have to deal with what you went through - I've got zero fucking clue how I'd cope.

May your friend rest in peace.

mansa1212 responds:

Thank you for your condolences, I never wish what I experienced on my worst enemy. When I showcased this at my school's senior project film showcase a lot of people told me it was hard to watch but also hard to look away. I believe them haha, I remember my professor reading through my storyboard and scripts and asking if I really wanted to do this project it may unsettle people, I was like "yes" it's something I had been planning on doing for a long while.

Newgrounds is damn good.
