I vaguely remembered seeing something like this on the Internet. Can't find it - might've just gotten hit by the Mandela effect.
Love the canvas texture you used for this - I mistook the trees for having a woodgrain texture because of it.
Feels sorta like nature reclaiming some disused technology.

On the one hand, the shadow clones' inverted colour palette and relative lack of detail (no hypnotic eyes/eyeshadow) should be a somewhat easy giveaway. On the other hand, its generally hard to notice these details when you're occupied with, say, trying to avoid being shanked.

Pretty solid Blake design - her hypnotic eyes definitely stand out.

Thanks! Figured an attacker would at least notice the inverted colors the moment their weapon hits the clone and they just have a second to panic before it blows up in their face.

The gun in the guy's hand looks like you based it off of the DmC reboot version of Ebony & Ivory.

The gun is inspired by the DmC reboot version, but I also wanted to try to make it have some resemblance to those from the original saga.

I didn't notice the eyes in the top-left before reading the pasta. Nicely hidden.
Nice touches on the text as well - the upside-down W as an M, the C edited into a G, and the Y from a completely different font all do a good job selling the ominous "haunted game" atmosphere.

I wanted to capture that sorta old pasta aesthetic, especially with the eyes reveal at the end.
Also some of the text thing was out of necessity given there werent some letters in the same font, but I think it adds to it the haunted vibe as you mentioned.
