A nice little design ref/model sheet for a cute little OC. Main recommendation from me is to add a colour palette onto this, to make things easier for anyone drawing her.

Ruby looks like she's barely holding it together. Probably the eyes.
This also feels pretty ominous in general, thanks to the heavy doses of red and black.

Well, since Team RWBY hails from the Realm of Darkness here, they DO look scarier than their OG counterparts. Fighting Grimm all their lives probably didn't help.

Judging by the bandaged neck, MM was decapitated. Going by the rose and bandaged eyes, she also had her eyes gouged out (either before or after). And going by your description, it was anything but swift.

Perspective on the coffin's a bit wonky, but that's my only real criticism - this is unsettling as hell.
