A familiar setup, and a pretty solid punchline. The background was nicely done, its soft, chalklike style contrasting well with the more pencil-like guy in the foreground.

There's a serene, liminal beauty to this straightforward MV. The tree that pops up in the second shot (from 30s to 1 minute in) offers the sole splash of colour throughout - I suspect its symbolic of something.

I may have never gone through a break-up, but the offbeat and relatable lyrics, downbeat-but-danceable (and distinctly German) beat and darkly hilarious/surreal animation still gripped me throughout.
