Impressively strange and creepy throughout, this solid little pilot was helped quite a bit by the odd chemistry between its two characters.

I ain't shaking that guy's hand, that's for sure.
Perspective on the fire around Bill's hand looks a bit wonky, but the foreshortening's pretty solid.

Its kinda obvious this is a lead-up to some pretty lewd stuff, but the low-poly visuals, Marcine's smooth-as-hell VA and the generally nostalgic vibe makes this a real comfy watch.

you're not wrong, but thank you for your comment - it's very validating to see people picking up the vibe I'm going for. The game is what it is, but I actually really wanted to make something heartfelt and comfy, the vast majority of the game is spent in actual conversations with Marcine, moping around your apartment or watching dumb TV/etc. so hopefully that'll come across.

Didn't take long for me to find Luigi - the guy's moustache proves pretty distinctive, even hidden underneath a pair of Warios.

Everything about this creeps me the fuck out, from the strange "mobile game" aesthetic to the near-complete and utter tonal dissonance between what's being shown and what's (implicitly) going on.

You have a future in horror, I can say that for certain.
