THANK YOU!!!(^ω^)
Damn, Cran, you nearly broke my neck with the tonal whiplash there.
I did burst out laughing at Cran nonchalantly admitting to having some long pork, so I can easily forgive it.
Seems Camco's serving as a stand-in for Bally/Midway this episode - Bartender's real-life counterpart, Tapper, was made by them.
Noticed the alien from the previous ep turning up here, too - saw him at the right side of the screen, around 6:04. Also noticed *something* behind the bartender around 6:35.
I'll admit, I didn't see that ending twist coming - looking back at S03EP01, G0ATFAC3's apology would be easy to cut out without being noticeable. Pretty subtle foreshadowing, I gotta say.
(Also, noticed a typo at 2:29 - "collect" is spelled "collec".)
...Whoops. You can always count on the biblical Cain to kill someone, even if its by complete accident.
Short, sweet, and darkly hilarious.
Okay, this was an impressive episode - Neojock's VA was damn good, alongside his S-tier jokes, and the clever call-back to the April Fool's episode (hope Neo enjoys his date!)
Noticed an alien popping up at around 6:55 - that's either a pretty neat easter egg, or foreshadowing. Probably the former. Hopefully.
Ending was pretty cool, too - pretty solid potshot at YouTube's algorithm there, and the nod to the then-recent pandemic fit pretty well. Also noticed one of the Tubees went missing whilst Tubee was describing the fallout of S2. (That's probably foreshadowing.)
(Also, quick sidenote - you accidentally copy-pasted the description for the April Fool's episode for this one.)
Thanks for pointing that out! It's fixed now
Well, there goes Flounderman's escape from jail. Still, he at least got a pretty sweet birthday gift, both in-universe and out-of-universe.
A goddamn hilarious April Fool's episode, and a damn good Homestar Runner parody.
Loved the doses of backstory and meta-comedy you slid in.
Well, G0AT's loss in the first ep was definitely a fluke - one whose explanation seems anything but mundane. Especially with ol' Mr. Ersatz Pitfall getting quite blatantly possessed and signs of viral infection popping up.
Noticed a mysterious-looking creature at around 8:13-8:15 - I expect its popping up again later down the line.
A real damn charming opener to Season 3, with some nice worldbuilding and some pretty good jokes. Ending was pretty solid, too.
I will say, G0AT lamenting Bonzi Kong 3's failure did come off as oddly funny - considering BK's real-life counterpart made a spectacular comeback in Donkey Kong Country (released two years after this episode's events), I suspect that's intentional.
Gotta say, that place looks pretty cozy to live in.
Loved seeing the room in wireframe and grayscale rendering!
Newgrounds is damn good.
