Background's pretty solid, as well - the ocean's somewhat basic, but those clouds are looking pretty realistic.

My man is looking nice and EVIL today
His colour scheme's giving big "fallen superhero" vibes, with the primarily dark colour-scheme and warm orange/yellow highlights.

His sword-hatchet hybrid looks equal parts hilariously impractical and perfectly fitting for him.

He's not a fallen hero. He is an ALIEN super villain who used to be part of this sentai/power rangers-type villain army. He left this group to be his own villain and the greatest one of all, after feeling unappreciated by his peers.

Despite having great swordsmanship skills, he wants to show off his mechanical inventor skills more, as he's actually a huge nerd who likes that stuff more. However, due to his bad luck and stupid choices, his villainous intentions and plans never see the light of day by the public or the superheroes and other villains, as they always got destroyed before any actions.

I can definitely say the blood, sweat and tears you put into this was worth it - this is goddamn beautiful.

Good call adding the OG doodles - its always nice to see how a masterpiece came to be.
