Its a tree, but not quite as I know it.
They usually don't have faces,
or other such uncanny valley shit.

Disturbing as hell, that's for sure - this tree looks like its in a world of hurt.

Really love the exaggerated animations - they feel like a mix between Spongebob and Ren & Stimpy.

I can see your point about the this being a bit stiff, though I feel it isn't much of an issue here - makes it feel distinctly like something made by a dedicated fan, rather than a large company with cash to burn.
