A basic, but fun shooter, with a neat notepad-ish artstyle.
Being limited to the left half of the screen felt pretty arbitrary, though, and combined with powerups random movement to make picking them up a bit of a gamble.

A pretty unique and fun idea for a rhythm game, with a lot of potential.
I can see myself playing this for a while.
A boring, luck-based affair, with nary an ounce of skill involved.
You did well within the jam's constraints - this is a pretty good shooter.
I quite liked the real-time clocks (both decimal and binary) you put in the HUD.
Visuals are alright, but the controls are nigh-unusable - clicking on an opponent is near-impossible on my touchpad, and due to the sword's low damage, killing even a zombie before it kills me is pretty much a non-option.
Having to use WASD, rather than the arrow keys, was also a pain.
Yeah The Clicker Game Nead A Mouse I Have A Touchpad In My Laptop But I Buy A Mouse

The Game Is Just A Beta
An excellently-made and adorable rhythm game, with a gorgeous artstyle.
Main complaint is the game freezing for about a couple seconds after a stage finishes loading.
Thanks so much for your kind words! We're still updating and refining the game so we'll be sure to try and improve the performance in the near future! In the meantime, there are native Windows, Android and MacOS builds over on our itch.io page which should be more performant: https://mezix.itch.io/bug-off
There's not much to this endless runner, but I enjoyed it a fair bit regardless.
Newgrounds is damn good.
