A cool tutorial for a cool piece of origami.

The Simpsonized guy flipping the bird got me good, and the built-in real time clock and ability to jump to any step are nice touches.

The choice of "You're Pitiful" from Weird Al's an odd choice - sure, its a pretty solid track, but directly insulting your players is rarely a productive move. (Granted, this was mid-'00s Newgrounds - taking the piss out of anyone and everyone was A-OK back in the day.)

Generic audio/visuals and boring gameplay make for a pretty weak take on the Snake formula.

This game's idea is, in my eyes, fundamentally flawed - shortening the snake with every potion taken leads to a complete lack of challenge.

Yeah, you're right. Sorry

"Game of Disorientation" is definitely a fitting name. Truth be told, I found it surprisingly easy to adapt to the disorienting effects - the main major challenge(s) came from the guillotines and the clones.

I remembered playing this as a kid. This one can be firmly filed under "dumb fun incarnate".

Main complaint's those mouse-based controls - feels like I'm trying to do everything with a fucking pool noodle for an arm.

Visuals are pretty damn nice and I still had some fun, but damn is that cue ball hard to control.

Playing actual pool would probably be easier than this. The balls' ability to resist being pocketed definitely didn't help matters.

I've always been more of a fan of Uber Breakout II (https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/284700), but I can still appreciate this for how much of the groundwork it set, from the blocks and powerups to the clever spin on the Breakout formula.

A decent intro to using Flash by the man himself.

The button in this tutorial's final frame is broken and doesn't do anything, but that's kinda expected - its referencing a main menu page that no longer exists.

I remembered playing this as a kid, and its just as hilariously fun as I remembered it.

Very charming mix of crude Flash visuals and live-action.

A playable Simpsons gag with some medals on the side? Can't argue with that.

Would've preferred if the quality defaulted to high, but at least the BGM's nice to listen to.

You can also earn every medal in only two runs, which is nice too.

Aprime responds:

Defaulted to high isn't pixelated though :(
Become a fan :D

The game's name and the warning that it "will fuck you up" are pretty fitting - those effects are disorienting as shit, especially once it picks up the pace, and the music can get pretty damn distracting once it starts clipping like crazy.

Beyond that, gameplay's about as barebones as it gets. Only thing that held my attention was seeing just how hard the game can try to make me puke.

(Sidenote: Right-clicking immediately kills you, so cheating isn't an option.)

Newgrounds is damn good.
