A damn good Tankmas ADVENTure - minor shame that Yule Duel's broken in this, but at least there's a standalone version (which I've earned all three medals in :P).

We've fixed the medals so now when you play the external Yule Duel game you can retroactively unlock the medals in the 2022 advent just by opening the game once :)
Came here from Tankmas 2022, since that game's Yule Duel isn't working.
A pretty damn fun card game from start to finish. Didn't feel there was much depth for most of my playthrough, but when Santa broke out The Boss, I remembered the rule about 1's beating A's and used it to turn his own card against him. I felt like a goddamn genius after that.
(Protip: Secularism is shockingly strong against Santa.)
Hi! Tankmas 2022 has now been updated so when you unlock medals in this standalone version of Yule Duel you will also unlock the same medals in Tankmas 2022 just by logging in. Thank you for playing!
The enless runner that spawned an entire genre - between the beautiful minimalist visuals, an excellent electronic soundtrack and simple-but-fun gameplay, its easy to see why.
This got into the Museum of Modern Art for a damn good reason.

Went in expecting a NInjamuffin Classic Shitpost(tm), got an emotional gutpunch and a mild existential crisis
7/10, would question my life decisions again
A basic idle game, which gets old pretty quickly. Good to kill a few minutes, or to grab some easy medals, but not much else. Progress generally feels slow all around, and the tax mechanic is a minor PITA.
Domo's anaemic-feeling attacks are my main complaint with this - whether I'm using a stubby-feeling stick or firing a glorified peashooter, it feels like my attacks do barely anything.
The flashing lights in the opening and the complete lack of an autofire are pain points for me, too.
There may be plenty of creativity in this, but there's plenty holding it back, I feel.
Simple, straightforward, arcadey fun (a phrase which describes more than a few games on Newgrounds), based off Charlie Sheen's then-topical bender.
Visuals are pretty damn colourful, though they can get a bit much.
Impressive visuals, solid comedy, and brutal difficulty all combine to make a top-notch Impossible Quiz experience. One hell of a way to cap off the series, even all these years on.
The ADVENTure that started it all - a simple, but pretty damn good little advent calendar that holds up pretty damn well.
Newgrounds is damn good.
