Simple, tough arcadey fun.
The rather unsubtle environmental message it puts forth (this *was* made in the immediate wake of one of the worst environmental disasters in history, remember) is driven home pretty hard by its hard-as-nails difficulty, I feel.

Straightforward, simple dumb fun, with a few achievements on the side.

The central joke behind this (people risking life and limb for cash) does hit a bit different after Squid Game game out.
And after MrBeast missed the point of it and made a real-life Squid Game.
And then went on to get sued for risking people's lives in a competition (https://news3lv.com/news/local/las-vegas-staff-say-mrbeast-should-be-blacklisted-cite-osha-setting-medics-for-failure).

A short, but sweet little adventure through a zombie-infested island, loaded with funny and interesting characters. Plus a borgar.
Main complaint's with the character's gun - the lengthy delay and lack of spread makes it a pain to use.

This game's ZX Spectrum-styled visuals and eerily realistic setting combine to produce a supremely creepy atmosphere. That secret ending really scared the shit outta me.

A pretty solidly crafted April Fool's joke all around.

A-Type does a damn good job recreating the 1989 classic, with the occasional Bob-Omb to spice things up. The cavalcade of NES characters flooding the playfield at seventeen lines caught me by surprise, I'll admit. The ending punchline is also as hilarious as it is dark.

R-Type is a bit of an afterthought - didn't keep me hooked particularly long.

(Sidenote: Using the Tengen version of Tetris in the title screen was pretty clever IMO. Pretty deep cut there.)

Exactly what it says on the tin - a detailed guide to recreating the classic B.

I'm not sure if it would have been eligible for Turd of the Week (it got quietly retired some time ago), but considering you put more effort into this than most other Clock Day entrants, you probably wouldn't have gotten it.

There's the core of a fun game in this, but there's two serious flaws here.

First, the lacking acceleration on Nauryz makes him feel pretty awful to control.
Second, the speed at which everything else moves makes acquiring apples a lot more luck based than it should be.

Short, and pretty spooky. The jumpscares in the opening and ending got me pretty good, and this had a pretty nice atmosphere.

Gameplay felt a bit awkward, though - guy doesn't control the best.

You made a real good call with that quick tutorial - I had a lot more fun playing this now that I knew what I was doing.

I initially started by dropping anvils on foes, but ended up switching to jumping on their heads instead - found it a lot more fun.

Thank you very much! I'm glad these updates have made your experience with the game better!

Behold, the very first submission Miniclip ever uploaded to Newgrounds (and probably the first thing Miniclip produced)...yeah, its kinda crap.

Its got that "humble beginnings" kinda charm things get when their creator goes onto to pull some truly impressive things, but its not much more than some basic animations, SFX and music loops all sandwiched together and handed out like ecstasy at a rave.

Newgrounds is damn good.
