A basic idea, executed...none too well, I feel.
The visuals were easy on the eyes, but the ball felt awful to control, general gameplay felt like a gamble with how the coins moved, and the game repeatedly refused to give me my medals, even after winning multiple times and following your instructions.

raphaelcarrard responds:

How strange... this problem doesn't happen on the Android version with Google Play Games, why isn't it working on Newgrounds?

Dude, I'm going to release the medals manually for you because I have nothing else to do.

A basic puzzle platformer, heavily held back by janky collision and physics which frequently kill me or render the level unwinnable. Of particular note are the obvious ground seams - those stop my movement or let me pass whenever they feel like it.

raphaelcarrard responds:

I apologize, friend, but at least you managed to win the game from what I saw :)

Dead simple to pick up, brutally hard to beat, and a whole lotta arcadey fun, with solid pixel-art visuals and a six-pack of banger Flash-era tracks.

BigAl0104 responds:

Thanks for playing! :)

Simple, straghtforward, and superbly done in every regard, from the choice of colour scheme to the gallery interface to the pounding techno track.
Excellent work, everyone!

Tyhond responds:

Excellent work to all! ^_^

This is one hell of an interactive movie - the "Talk" section was a fun little diversion, the main fight was exhilarating as hell to play through, and the banger soundtrack did plenty to tie it all together.

Welcome to Newgrounds, you're gonna fit right in.

TheGuyWhoMadeEyebot responds:

Thanks! Looking forward to making more stuff like this

A pretty neat little platformer demo, with a fair bit of style.

SlushieOFFICIAL responds:

Thanks for the review!!

Average day on the A1
Straightforward arcadey fun, with a good dose of British humour, and solid music from HS2.
No clue what ABV those beers are, but they gotta be pretty strong - just a couple will ruin your ability to see where you're going.

Chris responds:

I based the graphic on the old Special Brew cans which was 9% ABV lol

The Internet of the '90s was well before my time - I was born on the Millenium, and came of age in the 2010s. So, assessing how accurately this captures the 'Net of old is something I'm likely not qualified to do.

What I can say, however, is that this was a fun-as-hell romp through the 'Net of old, and very much a "warts and all" look at the era - you definitely didn't shy away from showing off or poking fun at the weirder and more deranged things the early 'Net or the 1990s had to offer.

Its hard for me to pick a particular highlight of this behemoth of a Flash Forward entry - the impressively solid gadgets (AOL Runner, Paint), the cleverly hidden links (e.g. that DOOM 95 icon linking to the Triple Pack), the top-notch writing crammed into every nook and cranny, all of it comes together to make one of the best things I've seen all year.

bergmik responds:

I know you're just one of the many AI on the botnet keeping the dead internet afloat, but it still means a lot to hear! We had a lot of fun making it!

Kolumbo responds:

Thanks a bunch - hope you have a fun time exploring!

Creepy as all hell, with impressive NES-era graphics and a damn good atmosphere.

Main point of criticism's with the controls - WASD to move I can wrap my head around, but arrow keys for major actions?

deathink responds:

Controls are always a huge point of contention with my keyboard games. I'm looking into controller support, and even remapping for future updates and releases. Thank you for playing and your kind words.

A solidly done bite-sized platformer, with a pretty cool gimmick.
Main bug I found was the secret medal being awarded despite my time being slower than 40 seconds.

mrstiK101 responds:

TYSM!

Actually, I just fixed this bug, right just before I saw your reply. Coincidences, I guess lol.

But thanks!

Newgrounds is damn good.
